A note about playing multiple cards
It is very easy to play multiple cards when playing online. Most of the sites about will allow you to play up to 24 cards simultaneously. Does this give you a better chance of winning? What is the optimum number of cards that you should play?
You can look at this question in a number of different ways:
- The more cards you play, the more money you are spending on every game
- Therefore you risk losing more money.
Or
- The more cards you play, the better your chances of winning.
Clearly you should not play more boards than you feel comfortable playing, and you should never risk any money that you are not prepared to lose. However, this statement applies whether you are playing 24 cards, 6 cards or even just one. At the end of the day, the purpose of playing is for enjoyment and entertainment. Will you enjoy the games more if you play multiple cards, or will you just sit back and let the software mark the numbers off for you? Certainly in bricks and mortar bingo, you would never be able to keep track of 24 cards. Therefore you would miss out on winning bingos and lose out on prizes that you would have otherwise won.
If you play a lot of cards simultaneously, then you will stand a greater chance of winning any particular game. However, you will probably lose more money in the long run because you will be spending more on every game, unless you are particularly lucky. Therefore, as a rule of thumb I would recommend playing the same number of cards that you would in a bricks and mortar bingo hall.
